Subject: [etree] Honkytonk Homeslice
hello,
I am the archivist for Honkytonk Homeslice and we would love to be able to start uploading some of our shows to the archive. Our taping policy can be found at http://www.honkytonkhomeslice.com/taping.html
and please list our homepage as http://www.honkytonkhomeslice.com
thank you,
Daev Brown
Honkytonk Homeslice Archivist
Daev followed up:
"I would say for right now let's allow lossy copies but not allow anyone other than myself to upload shows. BUT that's only if we can change that later!"
Follow up on 8/3/05 - I am writing regarding a June 10, 2005 Honktyonk Homeslice show that Lisa Brown is attempting to get uploaded to the archive. I am a co-archvist for the band, and I have permission to upload. Lisa Brown is the band's manager (http://www.honkytonkhomeslice.com/contact.html), and, for whatever reason, has not been able to get this show approved. Can you please add her as a person with permission to upload.

A fan noted here: This is a duo formed by String Cheese Incident guitar player Bill Nershi with his wife, Jillian.

Honkytonk Homeslice Taping/Photography Policy
Honkytonk Homeslice encourages the taping and trading of our live performances. Every show is unique and we want our fans to be able to reexperience the feeling of being there long after the show ends.
A few things to keep in mind:
* Please be considerate of the musicians and the working crew.
* Please do not obstruct anyone else's view or enjoyment of the performance with your recording equipment.
* Soundboard patches may be available at some performances, but patches are not guaranteed. Please be prepared to tape using your own microphones.
* All taping must be for personal use only.
* Trading is allowed via analog or digital tape, CD, or digital file transfer, but only for an equivalent amount of similar media (e.g. cassettes, CDs, DVDs). Regardless of expenses incurred, no money may ever be exchanged as part of a trade (stamped, self-addressed envelopes are OK). Audience taping at Honkytonk Homeslice concerts is authorized for non-commercial purposes only. Unauthorized sale, duplication and/or distribution is strictly forbidden. All Honkytonk Homeslice performances and recordings are the exclusive property of Honkytonk Homeslice. All rights reserved. The rights to record Honkytonk Homeslice performances set forth in this policy constitute an express, revocable license. We reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, tape trading and/or non-commercial digital audio file transfers on a case specific basis or in general, as we deem necessary. No waiver of any copyright or trademark right is intended.
Still Photography is also allowed and encouraged at Honkytonk Homeslice shows, but video taping is not permitted. Please refrain from using a flash.
Please contact info@honkytonkhomeslice to give us your best shots/recordings, we just may put them on the website!
